To conclude

Raising driving age is all about safety, it is obvious that teenage drivers are not only danger to themselves, but also danger to other drivers on the road.

The three arguments are somehow related to each other. 16-year-old brain is not fully developed so they make bad decision and driving drunk, as a result accident happened. Arguments above have provided sufficient statistical data, and scientific reason to show that 16-year-old is not old enough to be put behind the wheel. Therefore, by raising the legal driving age to 18, it should decrease teenager’s tragedy on the road.

Raising driving age is just one of the steps to make road safer, the best way might be start teaching kids how to drive around 15 with supervision, so that by the time they are 18 and old enough to get driver license, they already have three years of experience.

  1. So first of all, people under 18 shouldn't be drinking. Also when I was younger I would never even think of driving drunk. Now as long as I'm barely under the limit, off I go :P

I also think that you are a lot more careful when you are younger because the whole experience of driving is pretty scary. I'm a lot less careful now when I drive compared to when I was younger.

It's not like you have a full license from 15/16 either you have to go through the different licenses to get your full license. This slowly introduces new drivers to being able to drive.

I got my license at the age of 15 and I have many friends who are just getting their license at 20 and they find it much harder to learn how to drive at that age.

  2. Cause of I am not interest on driving and car, I thought the driving age is not the main reason for high accident rate. The people have enough driving experience or not will connect to accident rate. In fact, the time around people get learner license and start driving without instructors is the most dangerous time. When drivers start diving without instructors, they will easy to get excite or nervous. If drivers drive with those emotions, there will easy to have an accident. After I read the blog, I learned “16-year-old is danger on the road, is because their brain is not fully developed.”

  3. I think the age does matter on road safety and the accident rate. The points I would like support my opinion are made clear in your body of the blog so I won't repeat that. Your blog has reminded me of the road safety once more. thanks
